Cruises
Slow days on the water.
Unpack once and let the scenery drift past.
River days on the Murray, and coastal or ocean cruising if that appeals, planned so the cruise sits naturally after a visit to family.
The Murray River
PS Australian Star cruises the Murray from Torrumbarry, near Echuca, with the comfort of a five-star stay and the river drifting past your window.
It pairs naturally with a visit to Melbourne: travel to Echuca to join the cruise, and afterwards continue your holiday to Adelaide before flying home.
On board, guests gather in the Hopwood Lounge and Bar, dine in the Randell Dining Room and stay in suites with views over the water. With just 38 guests, it is relaxed and personal.

The 4 Night Explorer Cruise
The 4 Night Explorer Cruise departs from Torrumbarry Weir and follows the winding river to Echuca and Moama. Along the way are Perricoota Station, Deep Creek Marina, Murray Gums Estate and St Anne’s Winery, a signature barbecue, and a town tour in Echuca to finish.
The boat moors overnight at quiet spots on the river, including Norris Bend, Perricoota Station and Layfield Lane.
Coastal and ocean cruising
If a cruise along the coast or further afield appeals, tell Nancy where you are visiting and when. She will look at what sails on your dates and how it fits with the rest of your holiday.
Good to know
Nancy arranges the transfers to and from the boat, any stays either side, and the flights home, so the cruise is one part of a holiday that joins up end to end.
